Cynthia Huston

Huston has become known for her bold brushstrokes, creating work that is impressionistic and usually very driven by her love of color. Inspired by the landscapes of the Lowcountry, and an avid outdoors enthusiast, it is fitting that Huston does many of her paintings in plein air. Huston also loves doing figurative work and frequently takes commissions. "Making people happy is what inspires me to paint," says Huston.

Huston has been juried into local and national shows and won awards for her figurative work. She is a member of the American Impressionist Society as well as Oil Painters of America.
